Singletrack Magazine Goes Greener

From issue 42 Singletrack will increase its cover price for the first time in over two years from £3.99 to £4.25. The reason for the price rise is to partly fund the switch to FSC managed paper sources in order to reduce the negative impact of magazine production on the environment.

Craig top American in round two of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup

Top American mountain bikers continued their quests for Olympic start spots this weekend with round two of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Offenburg, Germany. Adam Craig posted the top American finish with an eighth-place effort against 230 rivals in the elite menandrsquo;s event while Georgia Gould was again the top U.S. rider in the elite womenandrsquo;s event, finishing 13th in the 120-woman field. The Offenburg World Cup was the second of five that factor into Olympic selection, along with the 2008 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships later this summer in Italy.
