Sawicki Seventh at Mountain Bike Marathon Worlds

Pua Sawicki became one of the only Americans ever to land inside the top 10 at the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships on Sunday. Sawicki came in seventh, 17:14.2 behind world champion Sabine Spitz (GER) on the 84-kilometer course in Stattegg, Austria. Her American teammate Heather Holmes came in 25th out of the more than 50 female competitors. Harlan Price pulled off an 87th place finish on the menandrsquo;s side.
